Firetide, Inc., a leading developer of wireless mesh network equipment, today announced that it has named Arturo Cazares vice president of worldwide sales. Cazares comes to Firetide from Packeteer Corporation, where he had been vice president of worldwide sales, driving the company's revenue growth 30 percent per year for three consecutive years to over $150 million and building a 170-strong sales force.

Prior to Packeteer, Cazares was senior vice president of worldwide sales and marketing at Menlo Worldwide and before that he spent over 10 years at 3Com Corporation in a number of senior sales management positions including senior vice president of worldwide sales, marketing and services - Business Connectivity Company; senior vice president and general manager EMEA, and vice president and general manager Americas International. At 3Com, Cazares was responsible for a $2 billion sales organization with over 1,200 professionals.
