Dale Achabal
Dale Achabal is the L.J. Skaggs Distinguished Professor of Marketing at Santa Clara University and is also the associate dean for research and development. In addition, he directs the efforts of the Retail Management Institute, which focuses on management development, retail-related research, and retail education at the undergraduate level. Among his research interests are information and expert systems, productivity analysis, and retail patronage. He serves on the MobiBucks' Board of Advisors as the large retailer chains advisor. Professor Achabal received his bachelor's and master's degrees from San Francisco State University, and earned his Ph.D. at the University of Texas in Austin. He joined the Leavey School faculty in 1980.
