David Palmer
David Palmer has more than 15 years of professional management experience, including senior management roles with FedEx in the areas of Planning, Market Research, Product Marketing, Corporate Finance, and Strategic Alliances. David was recruited to create and lead the FedEx Ground Strategic Planning function. David’s strategic planning process was instrumental in bringing focus on markets, products, and costs, contributing to double digit sales growth and greater profit margins to this $4 billion business unit.
David plays competitive sports, has traveled to over 40 countries, and speaks Mandarin. David has been a six-year board member for the Management Game program at the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University, has a BS from Pennsylvania State University, and an MBA from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management.
