With over 25 years of senior executive experience in the software industry, David brings a tremendous wealth of experience in enterprise products, organizational growth, and success in creating and growing technology companies.

David has an extensive background in the software industry and most recently, he was CEO of xkoto, a cross platform enterprise database virtualization software company which was acquired by Teradata. Prior to xkoto David was VP & General Manager at Novell, where he managed the $450 million division that included Novell's SUSE Linux and Netware operating systems, collaboration products and a number of emerging open source technologies. David joined Novell in 2003, as part of the acquisition of Ximian, a leading Linux and open source software company, where he was President and CEO.

Before Ximian, David served as President of worldwide sales and operations for The Learning Company, an $800 million consumer software company acquired by Mattel in 1999 serving as President of worldwide sales and operations of Mattel Interactive.
