Declan Shalvey brings to the company leadership and experience in operations and manufacturing, with a track record in manufacturing excellence with respect to safety, yields, cycle time and costs. Prior to joining Boston-Power, Mr. Shalvey was Vice President at JDSU where he was responsible for World Wide Manufacturing Operations. Focused in the areas of general management, strategic and business planning, product, operations and supply chain management, vendor negotiation and quality systems planning, Mr. Shalvey also held executive positions at Coherent, Inc. and Quantum. His interest in strategic planning processes, combined with his ability to rationalize product offerings, while keeping aligned business processes, systems and organizational capability has many times led to stabilized financial performance. Mr. Shalvey holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland.
