Don was founder and CEO of FitnessHeaven.com, a pioneering health and fitness portal featuring interactive content provided by a pool of 500 experts throughout the world. Fitness Heaven was voted a Forbes magazine “Best of the Web” winner and was acquired in 2001 by Intermix Media.
At Intemix Don spearheaded core ventures that enhanced shareholder value. Don co-founded Alena Media and created the skin care brand Hydroderm, breaking new ground in online beauty brand marketing. After Intermix, the parent company to MySpace, was purchased by News Corp. in 2005 for more than $650 million, Don co-founded Brand Ideas. Emphasizing Don’s business philosophy that greatness is only achieved through collaboration and teamwork, Brand Ideas merged in 2007 with Johnson Marketing Group to form one powerhouse, full-service brand development enterprise.
