Simple Star Names Don Schena, Senior Vice President, PhotoShowTV

Industry Veteran Brings Strategic Leadership to Further Establish Simple Star PhotoShow in Multiple Digital Environments, Including Cable Television

SAN FRANCISCO, California - August 14th, 2006 - Simple Star, creator of award-winning PhotoShow software and services announced today the appointment of Don Schena as Senior Vice President, PhotoShowTV. Schena brings more than 20 years of executive management experience in the cable, digital media and communications industries to Simple Star. In his new role, Schena will be responsible for continued expansion of Simple Star's award-winning PhotoShow platform to numerous digital environments, including cable TV.

Simple Star PhotoShow is the only photo storytelling platform that makes it easy for anyone to quickly and easily organize and edit their digital photos and video clips and use them to create amazing musical PhotoShows. Unlike viewing static pictures, PhotoShows provide a rich multimedia experience combining broadcast quality credits, captions, transitions, special effects and clip art with a great musical soundtrack.

Prior to joining Simple Star, Schena was Senior Vice President for AT&T Broadband/Comcast where he was responsible for overall management of the Bay Area market consisting of 4,000 employees and two million voice, video and data customers. Before Comcast, Schena was Senior Vice President for MediaOne in the Midwest Region. In this position he managed operations that provided services for 1.1 million customers. During his tenure with MediaOne he oversaw the development and implementation of a network upgrade and the launch of new products, including high-speed data, telephone and digital video. Previously Schena was regional vice president for Aerial Communications and area general manager for U.S. West Cellular/Airtouch Cellular.

Schena received his bachelor's degree in business from the University of Toledo.
