Donn Worby
Donn Worby has joined Internet Real Estate Group in October 2007 as its new Chief Financial Officer. Donn is a seasoned CFO with over 30 years experience, most recently serving as CFO of GenuOne Inc., a venture capital backed provider of online and offline brand protection services and products. In his seven year tenure as GenuOne’s CFO, he led the company through multiple rounds of financing, acquisition of a software development firm, and the ultimate sale of the company in 2006.
From 1996 to 1999 Donn was a Consulting CFO to multiple small businesses. His clients included a financial services company, small manufacturing company, sports facility, real estate development company, and a start-up Brand Protection company (GenuOne).
Prior to establishing his consulting practice, Donn served for six years as the CFO of Look, Inc., a global medical device manufacturer, specializing in disposable sutures and instruments. Prior to Look, Inc., Donn was the Financial Controller of Exeter Equities, Inc., a diversified group of companies providing management consulting and financial services, real estate management and venture capital investments. Exeter Foods, Inc., the group’s largest subsidiary, was a $100 million multi-plant food products manufacturing, distribution, and marketing company. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University and a Masters in Business Administration from Babson College.
