Emeric McDonald
Emeric McDonald is the founder of Octane Capital Management, an investment management firm focused on investing in emerging technology companies. Prior to Octane, Emeric was the Director of Private Equity Research at Amerindo Investment Advisors and Co-Portfolio Manager of the Amerindo Technology Fund (ATCHX). While at Amerindo, he led investments in 25 private companies, which resulted in 14 IPOs. Prior to Amerindo, Emeric worked at Robertson Stephens Investment Management. Emeric's experience also includes management, technical and consulting roles at various companies including Synopsys, Hewlett-Packard and Intuit. He holds a B.A. in Computer Science from Dartmouth College and an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
