Eric Archambeau has extensive management and venture capital experience in both Silicon Valley and Europe. Eric joined Wellington Partners as General Partner in early 2005 after having founded several international non for profit initiatives in the Social Entrepreneurship domain as well as having lectured at INSEAD in the Entrepreneurship faculty. Prior to that Eric was co-founder and General Partner of Benchmark Capital’s European operations in London until the end of 2002. Eric joined Benchmark from Atlas Venture where he was a General Partner in Silicon Valley until the end of 1999. Before becoming a Venture Capitalist, Eric was a repeat entrepreneur, first as founding CEO of RightPoint, a provider of marketing automation enterprise software, acquired by e.piphany (Nasdaq:EPNY) then co-founder and initial CEO of Trading Dynamics, acquired by Ariba (Nasdaq:ARBA). In the 1980s Eric spent the initial part of his career in the semiconductor and EDA industry in Silicon Valley most notably at VLSI Technology Inc.
