Vice President of Business Development, Nortel
Eric Schoch currently leads one of the recently announced Business Transformation efforts focused on Revenue Stimulation. He is responsible for the transformation of the go-to-market model and increasing the commercial productivity of Nortel’s sales and marketing efforts.

Prior to his current role, Eric has played key roles in the success of various businesses including in Carrier Packet Networks and Wireless Networks. Eric was VP and GM of the Global Services for Wireless where he was focused on driving the growth of the business responsible for the development and execution of the portfolio, marketing, and business strategy. Before serving and VP and GM of the Global Services for Wireless, Eric was the Director of Global Commercial Marketing responsible for the development and implementation of the commercial and pricing strategy for the CDMA / TDMA business unit.

Eric has 10 years of experience with Nortel, holding a number of leadership positions across finance, marketing, operations, and business development. Prior to joining Nortel, Eric held several positions with DSC Communications Corporation in sales operations and marketing.

Eric holds a BBA from Stephen F. Austin State University and a MBA with a concentration in marketing from University of Texas at Dallas. Eric also studied at the London Business School via an executive international learning experience focused on strategic innovation & perspective, resources & processes, leadership skills & change, and leadership in high tech companies.

Eric is married with a son and a daughter. His hobbies include golf, fishing, and boating.
