Mr. Hawkins is CEO and co-founder of PureVideo, operator of user generated video websites StupidVideos.com, GrindTV.com and in beta HollywoodUpClose.com. Prior to PureVideo, Mr. Hawkins served as Senior Vice President of Product & Strategy at Citysearch, where he oversaw the company’s $40 million P&L, and managed the product development, product management, business development, and operations groups. His team developed the Internet’s first local pay-for-performance search engine, beating industry leaders Overture and Google to market by more than six months. Mr. Hawkins was also a member of the executive team that defined strategy for parent company InterActiveCorp's Local Services division, which includes Citysearch, Evite, EPI (The Entertainment Book) and Trip Advisor. Before Citysearch, Mr. Hawkins was a partner account executive for Yahoo! Music, where he sold advertising, syndicated content, promotions and interactive web applications to major brand advertisers and leading advertising agencies. Mr. Hawkins came to Yahoo! Music from LAUNCH where he oversaw production, content syndication and advertising operations for LAUNCH.com, the Internet’s leading online destination for music content and the largest streaming site on the web.
