Francis Egan
Francis Egan is Managing Director of Chicago based Northwater Capital Inc., an investment banking and money management organization managing over 9 billion of client assets, specializing in alternative investments. In addition, he is currently a Managing Partner of Gen3 Capital, a Venture Capital Firm with offices in Boston, Chicago, and Monterey, CA.
As well as serving on the Groxis Board of Directors, Mr. Egan serves on the Board of American ePay in Chicago, IL, is an advisor to Malibu, CA based First Stage Ventures, and is a Director of Gen3 Partners, a technology innovation and intellectual property firm with offices in Boston, MA and Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Formerly a Venture Partner of Draper Fisher Jurvetson ePlanet Ventures, a Global Venture Capital Firm, Mr. Egan spent 20 years in the securities industry as an Executive Vice-president with Paine Webber inc, Kemper Securities and Daine Rauscher Wessels in Chicago, IL.
