Francis Li
As Vice President of Product Design and Development at Tiny Pictures, Francis is responsible for the interaction design, engineering and deployment of Radar across all mobile platforms: messaging, web and applications. Outside of Tiny Pictures, he maintains Mobile Processing, an open-source development tool and community, and hosts classes in mobile design and prototyping.
Prior to joining Tiny Pictures, Francis was a lead engineer at Glu Mobile, where he worked on original and licensed titles like FOX Sports Mobile and Marc Ecko's Getting Up! Francis' previous experience also includes prototyping location-based services for i-Mode in Europe as well as mobile and multimedia research at Sun Microsystems Labs and Microsoft Research.
Francis holds a B.A. and M.S. in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley. He holds a master's degree in Interaction design from the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea.
