Network security industry veteran to play key role in expanding nCircle's business worldwide

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — April 19, 2005 — nCircle, the leading provider of enterprise-class vulnerability management solutions, today announced the appointment of Gus Malezis as vice president of worldwide sales. Mr. Malezis brings more than 20 years of industry experience, with proven success and leadership in senior sales and executive management roles. A recognized expert in the fields of advanced security and data networks, he has worked extensively in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. In his new role at nCircle, Mr. Malezis will lead nCircle's global sales team to further extend market penetration of nCircle's vulnerability and risk management solutions.

Most recently, Mr. Malezis was responsible for the launch and rapid growth of the McAfee Intrusion Prevention business. During his six-year tenure at McAfee, Mr. Malezis also held various strategic and executive management responsibilities including, senior vice-president of McAfee Product Management and General Management of Canada. This included sales responsibilities for Antivirus, PGP, Gauntlet, Sniffer and CRM solutions. Prior to McAfee, Mr. Malezis spent nine years with 3Com Canada where he held various positions including, vice-president of sales and regional director of sales.
