Jason Rennie
A recent MIT PhD grad and collaborative filtering expert, Jason developed a new, state-of-the-art algorithm in his thesis. Decided it would be more satisfying to apply the algorithm to product discovery than to write yet another paper. Also has experience in text analysis, information retrieval and information extraction. Never one to eschew excess, he majored in computer science and double majored in math at Carnegie Mellon before heading to MIT for a master’s and doctorate. Jason serves as the office sommelier and, for a math nerd, has an unhealthy obsession with shoes and boots.
