JillEllyn Riley was most recently the Editorial Director at Miramax Books, publishing commercial and literary nonfiction and fiction, including bestselling high-profile memoirs and highly successful children's series. She worked with Queen Noor, Madeleine Albright, Arianna Huffington, Karenna Gore Schiff, and Kristin Gore among others. For children and young adults, she edited the Artemis Fowl series, the Bartimeaus series, Adam Gopnik's King in the Window, and most recently Alex & the Ironic Gentlemen by Adrienne Kress and the sequel, Timothy & the Dragon's Gate, among others. Previously, Riley was at Four Walls Eight Windows. She wholeheartedly believes that Buffy saved the world, a lot, and that Amanda Valentino is poised to do the same.
