John Findlay
John Findlay grew up in Portland, Oregon with interests in computer gaming and competitive fencing. As a teenager, he co-founded Chaotic Empire Games with Ian Jones. He joined the Army as a Mechanized Infantryman and was stationed in Baumholder, Germany in 2/6 IN. Later, he was stationed at Fort Hood serving in 2/5 CAV. Once a civilian again, John returned to his interest in online gaming and entrepreneurial pursuits. Chaotic Empire Games became the foundation for the Uberguilds Network, a community of top competitive online gaming groups which was acquired by gamerDNA in 2007.
John's pastimes include Hellgate: London, Dr. Who, Stargate SG1, Firefly, The Wheel of Time Series, and enjoying the music of Josh Ritter.
