Jonathan Weiner
Jonathan Weiner is a recognized leader in the prepaid card industry. He is EVP, Program and Managed Services of TxVia, a technology company that is revolutionizing prepaid card processing.
In 2005, Mr. Weiner co-founded Prepaid Media, a trade media company which owns and operates Paybefore, the leading publication for the prepaid and stored value card industry. From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Weiner served as President of Prepaid Media, which also created the Prepaid Card Expo, the leading trade show and conference for the industry, which was sold in 2007 to IIR USA, a subsidiary of Informa (LSE: INF.L).
From 2004 to 2005, Mr. Weiner was President and Chief Operating Officer of TSYS Prepaid, a wholly-owned subsidiary of TSYS (NYSE: TSS). Previously, he co-founded Clarity Payment Solutions, a leading venture capital-backed prepaid card processor, for which he served as President and Chief Operating Officer from inception in 1999 until 2004, when the company was sold to TSYS to form TSYS Prepaid.
Mr. Weiner has also served in senior management positions at The Hub Communications Company Ltd., a premier agency in London, England, where he was responsible for the interactive channel strategies of Fortune 500 corporations, including in the financial services, payments, and marketing sectors. Mr. Weiner received his bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
