Judy Lin

Judy brings more than 20 years of experience leading both start-ups and established businesses. Prior to joining Silver Spring Networks, Judy was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cisco's Ethernet Switching Technology Group, responsible for Catalyst 2000 and 3000 product families. Previously, she was Senior Vice President and General Manager at Electronics for Imaging, a leading provider of imaging solutions. In 1996, Judy joined VeriSign as a founding member of its development team, where she played an instrumental role in building technology, infrastructure and products that enabled the company to achieve $1.5 billion in annual revenue. While at VeriSign, she served as Senior Vice President overseeing product development, IT services and infrastructure operations and as Executive Vice President and General Manager for the security services division. Early in her career, Judy held a variety of software development and management roles at Taligent, Apple Computer and Hewlett-Packard. She holds dual bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and European History from the University of California, Berkeley. Judy incorporates green living in all aspects of her life. She has installed a solar water heater and compact fluorescent bulbs, drives a hybrid car, recycles, composts and worked with the city of Palo Alto on becoming a green city.
