Kevin Knapp
Mr. Knapp is a highly experienced database architect and internet software developer. He has uniquely combined that background with the evolving technologies of internet GIS systems. His work has been featured in TechCrunch and Mashable. In 2004, Mr. Knapp received the Center for Digital Government “Best of the Web” national award for his work in developing innovative web-based software systems. During his tenure in law enforcement IT, Mr. Knapp developed many award winning GIS internet mapping systems for offender tracking and trend analysis. Mr. Knapp has developed and implemented numerous web-based software and database systems. His experience integrating spatial map databases with tabular data such as the demographic data used in economic development is unique in the industry. He also brings over a decade of successful technical project management experience to GIS Planning. Mr. Knapp received his B.A. from the University of Colorado in Boulder, and his Masters of Science in Applied Geography and GIS. An accomplished elite bicycle racer on the track and the road, he won the Pro Rider of the Year award in Colorado in 2003.
