Laura Goldberg
Laura was most recently General Manager of NFL Online running the NFL's online businesses including NFL.com, the 32 team sites and various mobile sites. Laura was responsible for product, technology, marketing and editorial,, supported all league events and was involved in overall league marketing both on and offline. Previously, Laura served as Napster's Chief Operating Officer responsible for the day-to-day business as well as setting strategy and product direction. Laura oversaw all operational aspects of the service, including product development, program management, technology, music programming, creative, customer care, content acquisition and reporting, and key vendor relationships. Laura was an original member of the executive team at pressplay, a digital music venture jointly owned by Sony Music and Universal Music Group, as SVP, Operations and Marketing through the company's 2003 acquisition by Roxio and development into Napster. Laura came to pressplay from Universal Music Group, where she served as general manager. Laura began her career at Credit Suisse First Boston in the Principal Investments Group and as a portfolio manager at Avenue Capital Management, a distressed debt hedge fund. Laura is on the board of directors of the Andrew Carnegie Society, an alumni organization at Carnegie Mellon, and received a BS from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
