Prior to coming to Nile Laura was a publisher at Wilderness Press, an outdoor guidebook company where she worked in all areas of the business -- from operations and distribution, to book marketing and publicity, identifying new acquisitions and authors, and building content partnerships. She had a five-year international adventure when ran her own environmental consulting firm in Prague where she indulged her love of visiting new places and trying unfamiliar foods. On weekends, when she’s not traveling, you can find her hiking somewhere around Northern California with her dog. She has an M.B.A from U.C. Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and a B.A. from Cornell University.
