Mariano Pola is located in Santiago, Chile. He is a founding partner and director of Micrologica since 1982. Pola has led multidisciplinary electronic projects in Chile, Brazil, Mexico and Taiwan. Key developments include a mix of telecommunications and banking applications/devices such as: specialized communication interfaces, personal banking applications, AVL devices, People–meter devices and ATM’s. As a wireless data expert he has developed diverse applications over land-radio, trunking radio networks, mobitex, CDMA, low orbit satellite, GPRS and reflex. Pola has worked as a professor at Universidad de Chile and has been a director for several Chilean institutions such as: CORFO (Chilean Small Business Agency), ASEXMA (Chilean Manufactured Product Exports Associations), FONDEF (Chilean National Science Foundation) and Fundacion Chile. Currently he is a director for several technological companies in Chile (Inversiones Innovadoras S.A., Debtcontrol S.A., Rutacert S.A. and Tecnología Integral S.A.) and he is an associated DBM coach. Pola is leading the development of BlingNation’s handset devices. Pola has an engineering degree (1981) and MBA (1986) from Universidad de Chile.
