Cashview (Bill.com) Hires Mark Orttung as New VP of Product Development
Orttung is a pioneer in defining, building and operating Software as a Service (SAAS) and On Demand solutions

PALO ALTO, Calif. — October 10, 2007 — Cashview (Bill.com), a new online service that simplifies the management of everyday business finances, announced Mark Orttung as its new Vice President of Product Development. Mark has more than 19 years of experience in online service procurement, enterprise product development and system integration. In his new position at Cashview (Bill.com), Mark is responsible for all aspects of product development including product management, engineering, quality assurance and program management.

A pioneer and veteran in defining, building and operating Software as a Service or On Demand solutions, Mark is the author of several industry research papers. Prior to Cashview (Bill.com), Mark served as Vice President of Platform & Engineering for Rearden Commerce, helping the company grow to over 600 customers and more than 40 distributors, while building his team to over 100 employees. At Rearden Commerce, he also established a patent program, which resulted in the generation of more than 75 patents pending, of which he is the inventor/co-inventor of 35 patents pending.

Prior to Rearden Commerce, Mark held the position of Vice President of Product Marketing at GetThere, a leading global online corporate travel reservation service. He was also the Senior Director of Product Management at Genesys, and he spent nine years at Accenture (and its predecessor Andersen Consulting) serving high technology clients including Intel, SAP and Sun Microsystems. During that time Mr. Orttung co-founded a spin-off company that pioneered employee-centric HR portals. Mark is a graduate of Stanford University, with a BS in Mathematical and Computational Sciences, and Northwestern University, with an MS in Computer Science.
