Martin Lefebvre
Martin Lefebvre began his career as an ASIC designer for Bell-Northern Research, now Nortel Networks. In 1989, Martin became a professor with the Department of Electronics of Carleton University, in Ottawa where he supervised a group of fifteen graduate students and research engineers developing computer aided design tools for the physical design of integrated circuits. Martin was the founder of Cadabra Design Automation, an EDA company focused on automating the development of design libraries that was later acquired by Numerical Technologies. Martin was also CEO of CommandCAD Inc., which was acquired by Cadence Design Systems. Martin is currently an angel Investor with the Band of Angels and also serves on its member selection committee.
