Mike Powell
Mike Powell is the former Global Head of Markets at HSBC where he ran all Trading, Sales and Origination. He was responsible for 3, 500 staff in over 80 countries and revenues in excess of US$6 billion.
Since 2008 he has been a partner at Thematic Capital, an investment partnership focused on contributing to the intersect between financial markets, social media technologies and trading infrastructure, by conceiving and incubating businesses that apply those benefits to real-life investment challenges; and by investing in other businesses which stand to benefit.
