Monica Lam

Monica is a Professor of Computer Science at Stanford University and is a renowned pioneer in compiler research and technology. She led the SUIF (Stanford University's Intermediate Format) project that has produced a research compiler infrastructure used widely around the world. She has published about a hundred technical papers and developed numerous compiler optimization techniques used in state-of-the-art compilers. She is one of the leading lights in the industry on compilers, which is obviously a big part of our toolflow. Her participation in the Stretch TAB has been invaluable.
