Paps Shaikh

Paps brings more than 12 years new media sales experience to AdJug. Being focussed on taking new internet based products to market, Paps has built and led high-powered sales teams delivering growth revenue and customers - offline and online - within the UK and Europe. Most recently Paps held the position of VP of Business Development at Videojug.com, where he was instrumental in launching the company and delivering a robust commercial strategy to take the product to market. Prior to Videojug, Paps was the Director of European Sales at MIVA (formerly known as Espotting Media), where he managed six European sales territories, a team of 65 and delivered in excess of £100M PA in advertising revenues. Espotting, one of the most successful dotcoms in recent years, was valued at $170m at the time of its sale. Prior to MIVA, Paps was a business development director for BuildOnline - an ASP solution provider - creating channel strategies, taking products to market and opening doors to large multinationals. Paps started out at Emap where he spent five years, starting by selling print advertising and then moving onto digital offerings as early as 1997. At his departure he was Group Advertising Manager with commercial responsibility across a wide portfolio of products.
