Reuven Cohen
Reuven is a globally recognized pioneer and leader in cloud computing. He led the development of one of the world's first infrastructure-on-demand platforms with the first release of Enomaly's Elastic Computing Platform v1.0 in 2005, and has played a pivotal role in the evolution of cloud computing ever since. Reuven is the IEEE’s program chair for cloud computing in 2009; the founder of Cloud Camp, a series of customer awareness and educatione vents that have been held in 30+ cities on 4 continents with dozens more planned in 2009; originator of the Unified Cloud Interface Project, an international effort to develop a Semantic Cloud Abstraction API; founder of the Cloud Computing Interoperability Forum, a series of vendor-focused summits focused on the broad theme of cloud computing interoperability and technology standards; and founder of the Cloud Computing Community Alliance, a new Industry Trade Association in cloud computing and is on the Advisory Boards of Sun Microsystems and Microsoft.
Reuven is also a widely-read thought leader on cloud computing; his blog at www.elasticvapor.com has total readership of over 100,000 readers per month, and he has often been asked by top-tier organizations in both the private and public sectors to assist with getting their message out.
