Rich Biby, Technology With more than 20 years experience in the wireless communications industry, Richard Biby is an accomplished engineering principal who offers vision, product development expertise, and strong management skills.In his most recent Chief Technology Officer role with Crown Castle International Corporation, he was directly involved in new technology development, impact assessments of new technology business operations, and emerging business developments.
Mr. Biby is also a successful entrepreneur.In 1997, he created SiteSafe, LLC, the first company to exclusively meet the demands of the wireless industry in response to FCC and OSHA regulations regarding human exposure to radio frequency electromagnetic energy.SiteSafe was acquired by Crown Castle International in 2000.He also founded Biby Engineering Services and, as President, oversaw daily operations, managed engineering and software development teams, and directed product development and business strategy.Mr. Biby's most recent venture is Biby Publishing, LLC, which delivers management, financial, marketing, construction, safety, engineering, and technical information to the wireless telecommunications site industry.
Mr. Biby received a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science degree and a Masters of Science in Telecommunications and Computers from George Washington University.He also holds a Certificate in Technology Leadership from the University of Virginia.
