Mr. Chen brings Microfabrica a wealth of experience in micro-device design from the MEMS world. Prior to joining Microfabrica, he worked at OMM Inc. where he was a member of the original team that delivered the first qualified MEMS optical switch to the commercial market, and at Lucas Varity Novasensor (currently GE Industrial Systems) where he developed new MEMS products. Mr. Chen received his BS from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana and his MS at the University of California, Los Angeles, both in electrical engineering. He has authored more than 20 patents and 12 technical publications in MEMS fabrication and design.
