ClearApp Names Rob Greer Vice President of Marketing
Mountain View, CA - August 13, 2007

ClearApp, the only company providing a Business Service Layer Management (BSLM) platform integrated with an automated Application Performance Management (APM) solution for portal, J2EE and SOA applications, today announced that it has appointed Rob Greer to vice president of marketing. With more than 16 years of experience in high tech product marketing and sales, Mr. Greer will play an integral role in taking ClearApp’s customer momentum and overall penetration of the high-growth application performance management market to the next level.

Mr. Greer will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s marketing – including marketing communications, product marketing and product management. He will report to ClearApp president and CEO Jason Donahue. Greer most recently served as director of product marketing at Symantec where he managed all of the go-to-market, sales enablement, and awareness activities surrounding the Symantec APM and data center automation product families.

Before Symantec, Greer was vice president of international sales for Helius, where he managed international sales and pre-sales engineering. Additionally, Greer was vice president of worldwide systems engineering for SonicWALL. Greer joined SonicWALL through the company’s acquisition of Ignyte Technology, where he was founder and chief executive officer.
