Robert Simon

Robert Simon is a general partner of Alta Partners focusing on investments in enterprise software, Internet infrastructure and data storage. Alta Partners has $1 billion under management investing in early stage companies in life sciences and information technologies.

Robert currently serves on the Boards of Directors of nCircle, Tacit, Ellie Mae, Xavient Technologies. Prior to joining Alta Partners, he was a Venture Partner with Sierra Ventures and founded DotBank that was acquired by Yahoo! Inc.
