Russell Mix
Mix has served as the CEO of Qtask since it was spun off from Prolific Publishing, Inc. in 2007. As the CEO and CFO of Prolific since 1998, Mix led the advanced software technology development and publishing company to new levels. Under his leadership Prolific produced numerous franchise and branded products for the entertainment, gaming (gambling), defense, and competitive sport industries, with global clients such as Bally, Boeing, Eidos, Mattel, Konami, ShuffleMaster, TDK, and Walt Disney Co. Most recently, Prolific produced the top selling hyper-realistic life-simulators in the world, including the SereneScreen Marine Aquarium screensaver, featured in movies and on television, and the LifeGlobe Goldfish Aquarium, included with every copy of Windows XP from Microsoft.
Prior to Prolific, Mix held several management positions at Casino Data Systems (CDS) since 1993, including General Counsel and Senior Vice President, as well as President of an operating subsidiary, and was licensed or qualified to do business in numerous states and Native American jurisdictions throughout the US and Canada. Mix began his working career at the Nevada Gaming Control Board, conducting investigations of corporations seeking licenses to do business in the casino industry in Nevada.
