Salim Mitha
Salim is the Chief Operating Officer and co-Founder of Wahanda (www.wahanda.com), a health, beauty and wellness community and marketplace.
Wahanda connects consumers, wellness businesses and professionals across the globe through content (such as information on spas, salons, clinics, treatments and therapists), professional and user generated reviews, and ultimately through transactions, bookings and commerce.
Prior to Wahanda, Salim spent four years as the European Director for Yahoo! Search. Salim’s primary responsibilities included product strategy, monetisation, distribution and quality for Web, Multimedia and Social Search.
Salim has also led several M&A and finance transactions as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch Europe, and various projects as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company and A.T. Kearney in both Spain and the US.
Salim holds an MBA from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of Business. He speaks fluent Spanish and conversational French.
