Scott Taylor
Scott Taylor joined the VirnetX board of directors in 2007, and serves as chairman of the compensation committee. He currently works as vice president of corporate legal services for Symantec Corporation. Prior to joining Symantec, Taylor served as chief administrative officer, senior vice president, and general counsel of Phoenix Technologies Ltd. Before that, Taylor was vice president and general counsel of Narus, Inc., and began his legal career as a corporate attorney with the San Francisco-based law firm Pillsbury Madison & Sutro (now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman).
Taylor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from Stanford University and a J.D. from George Washington University.
