Stephen Lewis

Dr. Stephen H. Lewis is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of California, Davis, where he has been on the faculty since 1991. He is a renowned authority on analog circuit design and co-author of the textbook "Analysis and Design of Analog Integrated Circuits" (4th Edition). His research interests include data conversion, signal processing, and analog circuit design. Dr. Lewis is President of the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society, and previously was a member of the Program Committee for the International Solid-State Circuits Conference (1994-1998), Associate Editor of the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits (1994 to 1997), and Editor of the IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits (1998-2001). He is a Fellow of the IEEE and a recipient of the IEEE Third Millennium Medal.

Dr. Lewis worked at Bell Laboratories from 1980 to 1982 and from 1988 to 1991. He received his B.S. degree from Rutgers University, M.S. degree from Stanford University, and Ph.D. degree from the University of California at Berkeley, all in Electrical Engineering.
