FREMONT, Calif.. – September 19, 2007 – Digital Fountain, Inc., a leading provider of advanced standardized solutions for digital media delivery, today announced the appointment of Steve Berriatua as the company’s new Vice President of Content Delivery Network (CDN) Engineering and Operations. Berriatua brings more than 15 years of engineering experience and expertise in building advanced entertainment platforms for mobile and Internet-based applications. He is responsible for leading a high-powered engineering team in the development and deployment of Digital Fountain’s video CDN solution, which launches in January of 2008.

Throughout his career, Steve has been heavily involved in the design and deployment of cutting-edge solutions for improving the quality of experience for digital media and video consumption. Most recently, Steve was Senior Vice President of Engineering at FunMobility, where he was responsible for designing and deploying mobile entertainment and social networking applications and web portal initiatives. In this role he built and managed a 24/7 service organization to support mobile customers across the globe. Prior to FunMobility, Steve served as Vice President of Engineering for OpenTV and prior to that, Wink communications, where he helped lead the company to successfully launch the first complete interactive television solution for satellite operators, resulting in a successful IPO for Wink.
