Centrify Expands Executive Staff to Support Accelerating Growth
Steve Kennedy, former Quantum Executive, joins Centrify to lead worldwide sales, channels and services; Jim Chappell to increase strategic alliances and OEM business

Mountain View, CA — Centrify Corporation, a leading provider of Microsoft Active Directory-centric identity management solutions for Linux, UNIX and Mac, today announced the addition of Steve Kennedy as Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations. Kennedy will lead direct and indirect sales as well as system engineering and professional services. Kennedy brings 20 years of leadership experience to his role at Centrify having most recently served with Zantaz where in his four year tenure as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales he grew the business from $13 million to over $130 million.

With the addition of Steve Kennedy, Centrify can now allot senior executive attention to strategic alliances and OEM business. Centrify has assigned Jim Chappell to Vice President of Business Development where he will focus on elevating Centrify's business partnerships. Previously as Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations, Chappell led Centrify to over 350 enterprise customers including one third of the Fortune 50.

Kennedy has an established background in sales and marketing. Prior to joining Zantaz, he was Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Wind River Systems. Kennedy also spent 10 years at Quantum Corporation, where he most recently served as the Executive Vice President Worldwide Sales and Marketing. While at Quantum, Kennedy was an integral part of the company's sales growth, which went from $200 million when he started to $5.9 billion when he left the company. Kennedy holds a B.A. in Business Studies from Portsmouth University, Portsmouth, England.
