Tareq Maayah - Director: Holds an M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University and a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology,(IIT). Tareq was CEO of Siemens Information and Communication Technologies, a Siemens research and development center for optical communication equipment and is an experienced manager of high-tech research and development centers. His positions have included Managing Director of EXALT Technologies, CEO of Siemens Information and Communication Technologies Ltd., Chairman of the Board of Directors, Palestine Information Technology Association of Companies 2004-2006, and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Palestine Information and Communication Technologies Incubator (PICTI). Tareq participated in the Advisory Board to the Palestinian Ministry of Post & Telecommunications, and was part of the steering committee responsible for the telecommunication sector restructuring study conducted by KPMG during that period.
