Quellan Recruits Todd Smathers as Senior Vice President of Operations
Company operations division expands to meet escalating demand for noise cancellation devices.
SANTA CLARA, CA - April 24, 2007 - Quellan Incorporated, a leader in Radio Frequency noise cancellation ICs, expands it's operations team to include analog industry veteran, Todd Smathers as Senior Vice President of Operations.
Todd brings to Quellan strong operational discipline and vast experience in cultivating cutting edge analog enterprises. With over 25 years of industry experience, Mr. Smathers has held senior management positions at National Semiconductor, Linear Technology, Xicor Corporation and Intersil Corporation.
Laying the groundwork at Silicon Valley's premier analog company, Todd was part of the original team at Linear Technology in 1981. As Director of Operations at Linear, Todd managed domestic back-end operations, test and product engineering, world wide capacity planning and procurement, along with product qualification and production release for all product lines.
At Xicor, Mr. Smathers's contribution as Senior Vice President of Operations included managing all World- Wide operations in the development of high performance analog mixed-signal ICs - leading to an acquisition by Intersil, the leader in high performance analog semiconductor design.
