Tom Furlong is a Managing Director at Granite Ventures. He joined Granite after serving as Vice President and General Counsel at Zhone Technologies, a communications equipment provider. Before working at Zhone, Tom was a partner at Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich, LLP, a leading Silicon Valley law firm, where he practiced corporate, securities, and intellectual property law for 13 years. Tom has worked with Granite managers since 1988, and with the Adobe Ventures funds since their inception in 1994. He holds a B.A. in Economics and an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from the University of Chicago, and a J.D. from Northwestern University.
