Val Aleksenko
Val is the co-founder and chief information officer for LivingSocial, a social discovery and cataloging network that allows people to share reviews of their favorite movies, books, games, music, restaurants and beer. Val is a software development veteran with over 18 years experience in building and deploying complex systems. His recent assignments include leading a team of developers at France Telecom and helping with launching RevolutionHealth.com. Val studied Computer Science at the Kharkov Polytechnic Institute, Ukraine. When Val isn't working, he enjoys adding film noir movies and sci-fi books to his LivingSocial collections but his two cats have other ideas for his free time.
