Willy Franzen

Willy Franzen graduated from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations with a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations in 2006. During his time at Cornell, Willy took a strong interest in Negotiation Theory, Labor Economics, and Human Resources Management.
He started his first Internet business at age 14 and has been fascinated by the web ever since. After dabbling in blogging during his Freshman year in college, he took some time away from web development to focus on other interests. He spent two Summers as a Human Resources Intern at the Orvis Company in Manchester, VT where he worked on analyzing Associate Surveys and redesigning the company’s performance evaluation systems. After graduating from Cornell in 2006 he took on a number of contract jobs while traveling and pursuing his passion of fly fishing. After beginning his job search, he became frustrated with the way employers presented themselves to potential applicants online. He eventually quit his job search and decided to try to change how people find jobs online.
