Wim Reijnen

Wim Reijnen was the co-owner of our team the Thailand Tigers. During his tenure as our owner he fraudently deducted taxes from our salary which he did not pay to the Thai government. He is currently being investigated on those charges by the Thai government. Mr. Reijnen also did not obtain the proper work visas on our behalf instead he had us playing with 30 day tourist visas, putting us at risk of arrest and even deportation. This was also a violation of Thai law, employing foreign employees without proper documents. He is also being investigated by the government on these charges. Worst of all though, Mr. Reijnen simply did not honor the contracts that he signed with us at the beginning of the season. Our salaries were already two months late and Mr. Reijnen kept promising us that he would pay us while he waited for the season to end. At the end of the season when we had no recourse he offered some players pennies on the dollar of what they were owed. When it was clear most wouldn't take his settlement he simply disappeared. All of these charges are facts that he can not deny. I encourage anyone reading this to please research my claims independently. Google "Thailand Tigers not paid" or Singapore Slingers blog Headline:"Thailand Tigers not paid in 3 months" You can also confirm this with the CEO of The ABL(Asean Basketball League) Kuhan Foo. If Wim Reijen can do this to a small amateur team in Thailand imagine what he would do to your business. He is the most corrupt, dishonest despicable, businessman I and my teammates have had the terrible misfortune of meeting. He ran our franchise into the ground after only one season as owner with dishonest practices and outright lies. Any potential business partner of this man be forewarned he will cheat you! If you have any alternative to working with this individual I encourage you do so. Any involvement with him will only be putting you at risk financially and quite possibly legally.
Be warned,
