Young Kim
Young joined Epic Advertising in 2005 and is currently the Vice President, Finance and Administration at the company. A seasoned financial veteran with over 17 years of experience in various senior management roles, he is responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting. He currently works out of our Toronto office.
Prior to joining Epic Advertising, he spent 3 years as Chief Financial Officer for the Lawyers' Professional Indemnity Company, a liability insurer for the legal profession and a subsidiary of the Law Society of Upper Canada. In this role, he was responsible for managing all of the financial activities of the company including statutory and regulatory reporting to government agencies, treasury, tax, and investment of $300 million portfolio. Besides implementing new policies and best practices, he focused extensively on corporate governance and was actively involved with both the Audit and Investment Committees of the Board of Directors. During his tenure at Merrill Lynch Canada as Vice President of Legal Reporting, he was instrumental in the sale of their retail division to a major Canadian bank and the reorganization of the finance group. He has also held various senior management roles with Fidelity Investments both in an operational and financial capacity and was a pioneer in the establishment of the group retirement pension business in Canada.
He currently resides in Toronto, Canada with his wife and 3 young children. He enjoys tennis, fishing, and home renovating during his spare time.
