Steven has been developing and managing Internet-based consumer services for over 10 years. Prior to founding Cake Financial in April 2006, Steven served as the Senior Director for Strategy and Business Operations for the $100MM Digital Music Division at RealNetworks, where he helped lead the firm's music subscription, digital download, and advertising-based businesses. Previously, he was the Director of Business Development at financial services startup, myCFO, founded by Jim Clark and backed by Kleiner Perkins. Steven graduated cum laude with Highest Thesis Honors from Tufts University and received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he wrote “RealNetworks: Rhapsody” and continues to guest lecture.
