Prior to founding Cultura Media Group in July 2008, Anthony A. Kennada was a business student at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA. Kennada graduated in May 2008 with a Bachelor’s of Science in International Business with a Minor in Marketing. His experience within the curriculum and outside internships has sharpened his focus on proper business practices.

In June of 2007, Kennada took a position with EgoTV, a startup online media network that created original programming webisodes attracting a college target market. He worked closely under the guidance of CEO Jimmy Hutcheson in founding sponsorship opportunities, marketing to mass media (including social networks), and assisting to develop the corporate brand.This social media experience fueled Kennada’s passion for technology and sharpened his career goals and outlook.

One of the most influential experiences of Kennada’s life was the three months he spent studying abroad in Florence, Italy. He was able to appreciate the value of an international education and the importance it serves in the development of college student’s lives. He became passionate about learning new cultures and experiencing things he had only read about in textbooks. Kennada hopes to give back to the experience that gave him so much.
