First real job at a solar observatory in outback Australia then to an island in the middle of the Southern Ocean, the Max Planck Institute in Germany and a couple of year-long stints in Antarctica. Built a house in Tasmania, party from rock rubble and thought how a computer could do the hard 3D geometry when building with irregular shaped rocks. It's the information embodied in the shape of each rock that holds the key. So, thought I'd pursue this dream :)
